The model name is curious, this is not something you remember, but the Lexus HS 250h sedan’s always the first premium compact hybrid on the market. You see, all three cars (apart from the new IS-C) are quite similar, it’s just another machine, but also standard and optional equipment. 2011 Lexus IS 250 is comparable to the 4-cylinder Acura TSX, BMW 328i, Infiniti G25 and the all new Mercedes-Benz C300. Lexus IS350 clearly an engine smaller than 350, and of course, IS-F. Polite-powered 2.5-liter inline-6 ??putting out 204 hp and 185 lb-ft. torque IS “sister” 350, with the ability to sprint from 0-60 mph in around 8 seconds, not bad for a car that could catch up with fellow Germans, the BMW 328i’s. Steering is very responsive, and braking, thanks to the ABS, EBD and Brake Assist systems.
