2011 Toyota Prius Review and Price
Posted by: eza / Category: Automobiles Review, Hybrid, Toyota
The 2011 Toyota Prius is 51 miles per gallon in the city and 48 miles per gallon on the highway to deliver, but you still have the legs to see, though, if you bury your foot down, you lose them 48 miles per gallon. For hybrid sedan, but did not have a heavy body structure, but I would not really try to weave in and out of traffic at 70 miles per hour.
2011 Toyota Prius interior seems a bit complicated with digital dashboards and complex transmission gear. Again, this is something that will be used when there are people who come from 100% gasoline-powered vehicles. The Prius comes in three modes: Eco, 100% fuel, PWR to feel sporty, and the EV mode for the car to run on full battery.
2011 Toyota Prius engine is equipped with 1.8-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine producing 98 horsepower and 105 lb-ft. torque. It also comes with an electric motor of 80 horsepower with 153 lb-ft. torque. For hybrid? Yes. A continuously variable transmission is standard on all Priuses (or is it Prii for plural?). Electric power steering instead of rack and pinion gives a softer feel because of the Prius is a hybrid because, with independent MacPherson struts front and rear torsion beam are all standard. Toyota Prius is one of the first vehicle (and hybrids) of its kind to have both the front (ventilated and * confirmed *) and rear disc brakes as standard equipment.
